Hi,
I have a 94 tsi and the EGR system is bad anyway (cel flagging egr system), so rather than fix it, I was considering just blocking it off (got a 1.8 block-off plate from a yard). So this is probably a dumb question, but what do you use to cap off the ports on the throttlebody and everywhere else? I was looking at the diagrams on the taboo speed shop site, so I am planning to go that route.
Thanks!

I picked up a variety pack of vacuum hose caps at Advance Auto. The pack had different sizes and I used almost all of them. Bring a chunk of the old vacuum lines so you get the correct inner diameter for the hoses you are capping:thumb:

Thanks all--I stopped at Advance Auto on the way home from work and found them. I surprised they sell such a thing! Now I need to find some kind of solvent that eats through RTV--the EGR is practically welded on with a light blue sealant. Can't get it off with a mallet even. Any suggestions there? Thanks.

Thanks--I actually ended up spraying liquid wrench into the bolt holes and whacked it with a hammer. It eventually came off :)
