spark plug wires popping off, a bad tick, rough boost and some white smoke

So i was driving to school this morning and i noticed a ticking sound coming from the head, turbo area. I checked it out and noticed one of my plug wires had jumped off the spark plug. I got to school pushed it on and tried to start it again, the wire just popped off. today caoming home from school i pushed it on as hard as i can and the car started fine. My friend said that when i boosted and let off a small puff of smoke came out, the car boosted terribly and made really not much power. Yesterday i put in a new set of NGK BKR7's. Does anyone have any ideas? PLease help me out, I am ready to get out of DSM's because of this.

Did you make sure the plugs were gapped correctly? Check your turbo for shaft play.

I made sure i gapped the plugs at around .32-33, Ijust swapped out the turbo saturday and had a bunch of coupler problems, so i changed the plugs just in case any were fouled. I pulled one of the plugs out and it was kinda white, i havent driven the car hard or anything since i put the new turbo on and definitly since i put the plugs on yesterday. I am letting the car cool down before i check for play. I will go do that now and get back here in a minute.

okay so i just went out and tightened the plugs and ran the car. the plug wires stayed on and i guess it ran somewhat okay. i do not understand why the plugs are mostly white when all i smell is fuel going through the car? oh and i also check the shaft play and the turbo is solid as a rock. has this haddpened to anyone else of just me?

You say you tightened your plugs, were they loose the whole time?

Only reason I can think of a plug wire popping off on its own is if maybe the plug isn't (or wasn't) sealed all the way. Since our plug wires kinda seal against the valve cover maybe it build up some pressure in there and popped out.

You said the car "boosted terribly" what you mean exactly you mean?

What color was the smoke?
