does this sound like a boost leak

well so the other day i posted about my brake and battery light being on and now when i drive it feels normal until i get around 5 and my boost usally hits 15 psi and it only hits 10 and the car feels weak now and on start up it runs rich for awail but goes back to normal after a minute. does this sound like a boost leak or some thing. i put new spark plugs in and wires Mods:t/3 t/4 50 trim ,550 cc injectors,hks ssqv,38mm tail wastegate,turboxs boost controler, safc, act2100,turbonetics manifold... im at work right now so please give me some ideas that i can check for when i get home. thanks

Sounds like a boost leak to me. Pressure test it!

oh to add to this the vac would sit at 20 and it will start loosing vac and would sit around 10-13 psi

yeah.. you have either a rude boost leak, you MBC is put in between your wastegate and BOV, or you have a vac leak (which you would find through the boost leak test)...

if you have your MBC getting its boost signal from your BOV, then stop... you have a nipple ( haha.. nipple) ont he j-tube comming off the compressor outlet that is there for a boost signal to the WG.. you should have it T-eed off there... the only thing going from the BOV to the IM is the hose..

never mind all that right now.. ... just do the leak test, and all shall be shown to you.. most likely.. you have all the symptoms of a boost leak.. just do it, and it should tell you what up

sounds like your alternator is going bad, get it tested. It will cause your engine to run like sh!@ and mess with your electrical system. Its probuly just running off your battery and slowly draining till it wont run at all. look into it.

alrighty i did the boost leak test i found a really bad leak from the bov and i found that my egr vac came off but now on my a/f gauge its saying im running lean !!!!! on start up but i was woundering if its just trying to burn the extra gas or something any ideas? yeah ill get my altnator tested today if i have time thanks

I wouldent judge to much off of your gauge unless it is being powerd by a wideband, its more of a light show than anything. Go by your fuel trims on your logger.
