Edmonton,
I was wondering if anyone has a jack's transmission, what package and how it is working out for you. I was looking at the premium package and they are the only ones that dont ming shipping to canada so thats really my only option for performance tranny. Any input would be helpfull.

I don't usually like to say anything about a product until I've tried it personally, but I've heard nothing but good things about their transmissions. I've got a few friends running them without problems. I know they've been on the DSMlink forums too.

I'd say go for it.

+1 for that.. they arent a shep, but they are savage nontheless... do a lil research and check it out, and you will probably find, just like I have, that pretty much everyone diggs them..

you could always get parts and rebuild the tranny yourself.. as long as you are careful and measure clearances then you are good... it takes time, but can save money, and you can choose what you want.. just a suggestion.. I recently put LSD and a 4.18 final drive in my homeboy's 03 focus 2.3 duratec, and it was easy as hell.. they are just intimidating..

All my really good friends are techs so i really dont get intimidated by turning wrenches with their watchfull eyes over my shoulder. It's funny though that to buy the gears and and extra long 1rst and 5th with the 4-spider centre diff is more expensive than to just buy the whole assembly shipped. Go figure. I appreciate all the input, now all i have to decide is if i'm going to do a 6-bolt swap or not then buy the tranny accordingly.
