Greddy type S bov question

Why did they stop making the Greddy Type S bov? I noticed they replaced it with the type rs. I currently have the rs on my car and it works fine. But I really like that type s distinct sound. I heard that they might have a problem with the diaphram not holding good. Is there any way to get the greddy type s and replace the diaphram with the rs diaphram?

How is it a waste of money? The type s holds more boost, unless you dodge garage mod the 1g BOV of course.

because this guy has gone through about 3 bov's on a near stock setup. I heard a crushed 1g bov, and it sounded just as mean as a Greddy if thats what you want.

20 pounds of boost on my unmodded, recirculated BOV sounds sick! It's just as loud as my friend's Greddy Type-S on his 2G.

I'm running a type-s it's increadibly loud..And the sound is completely different from my crushed 1g..

97gsx_zeclipse, if you want a Type S so much why don't you check the classified section? I saw a couple listed while I was browsing through it a couple days ago.
