How To quick fix coolant problem temp solution

alright my ECT is bad, which in turns gives me trouble during cold starts. I am wondering if there is a "quick fix" as to turn on both fans by just turning on the a/c such as using a jump wire. or some sort of solution to turn on and off with the vehicle. until i get this fixed.

if i unplug the ect it starts just fine everytime. I have serached and read vfaq and know there are how tos but involve a hair bit more time then i currently have. Going to try and fix this during lunch break at work. Thanks for anyhelpWTF

Well, I have my fans turned on by a switch. It's a 15A switch from a local hardware store. I just hooked the power line to the battery, and ran the ground line to the switch, so when you turn the switch the fans turn on. Is very convenient since you can turn them on or off depending on the coolant temp.

Pull the 30 amp AC fuse under the dash so the compressor is diabled
(note this means you wont be using the ac until you put the fuse back in, blower motors also disable)
then turn your ac switch and button on you should see both fans turn on and run as long as you have the switches on

searched and found the above info.

I also know you can put a paperclip as a jumper and it will kick them on but I can't find the info.
