Now i wanna convert my 91 to a 92 up front end style and I have looked all around this forum to see if I can found somebody who has done it but no luck with that! If anybody has done it or knows how to do it please give me a few tips on what I need, and what I have to do, I already know I need the lights, the front bumper, hood, and fenders and remove the ones one there now, now I want to know if anything else needs to be done!

Thats all you would need. The frame might be a little different, not sure, but im sure itll work. The holder for the that mounts to the body would also be needed for the lights.

hey what's up..I have done this twice so far!!! I had a show car that took 3rd place in eclipse talon class in 03' nopi nationals...it was a 92 with a blitz body and many many more things...anyways long story short deer jumped out in front of me at 70mph at 11:45 pm one night on the PA turnpike...yeah so I took the engine and put in into a 91 tsi awd..and recently built a new engine...first week home this dumb women.pulled out in front of me....so I decided to convert it to 92 style I hate pop ups.... so u need bumper and fenders and hood like u said and u also need obviously the head lights and corner lights and the actual metal bumper...it won't fit without it....and a saw zaw ...sp??? or something like it to cut away part of where the old 91 fenders where in the front and infront of the radiator... I will take some pics and try to post...u can also p/m me for more info.....

ok thanks:thumb: so is there any wiring that needs to be changed?

yes the connectors from the pop up lights to the projectors are different.. I personally think it quicker to cut and splice but u have to figure ou which wire goes where they are different colors from91 to 92... I will try to take a few pics this afternoon... the light harness if I remember right runs inside the driver fender into the fire wall pain in the ass...
