i was looking into the keydiver stage 3 chip. i saw that it could compensate for the mas and the injectors. im getting 1000's and was wondering if the afc cant tune past 680's or so or is it that it cant compensate past that injector size? sorry if its kinda confusing

thanks
chris

The afc cant compensate much past 680cc injectors when coupled with a stock ECU because of the way it alters the airflow signal, which also affects the timing curve. After a certain amount of lying to the ECU, the car will begin to run like crap. However, if you were to get a chip to compensate for the larger injectors, the afc would be able to fine tune the signal as the ECU is already basing its fuel delivery off of 1000cc injectors. Sorry if my answer was confusing :p

what you need to do is get a chip that is burned for 1000cc injectors, and use the afc to fine tune it.

personally, i say forget the afc and chip combo....it's a waste of money. you spend nearly $300 for that setup whereas a used dsmlink is $150 more.
