MDP and strut bars

Ok so i figured out that the MEGAN Rancing strut tower bar that is on my car broke off the MDP sensor. Any advice on how to fix this other that take off the tower bar. I think i am going to try to shave the tower bar downa little where the tower bars sits on it, but I am worried that this will effect the integrity of the bar. Do any of you use MEGAN racing or have any of you guys had this problem? (Mannifold Pressure Differential) sensor

...if this really is the case i am going to slap the hell out of the guy i bought the car from. Are you serious i mean can you really do that holy crap. ill post pics of every thing when i replace the MDP, and turn my strut bar around. man i am going to be so pissed if this really is the case. thanks man.

ok so im gonna jump in here with a problem of my own,i left my strut bar off after replacing battery,drove it around for 10 min came back,hooked up dsmlink and got a mdp sensor malfunction.So i cleared the code and drove it to a friends house,didnt pull on it at all and the car started misfiring.So i pull over check dtc's and sure enough i got a 0300 random misfiring code..could all of these problems happen because my strut bar was off?

Make sure the battery isn't shorting against the bar or hood, and make sure your battery terminals are clean and tightly fastened.
