I was wondering if anyone has this for their 2g. I had it for my first car.....96 toyota celica w/auto tranny and I must say it worked pretty darn good. If you have DSM link or any other fuel management, do you even need this? I want some feedback.

Although I have never seen or used this device, I would personally go with another tuning tool. It doesn't appear that you can make any adjustments to play with your fuel at different RPM's or log your timing and O2's. For a price of almost $300 I would pick up a used AFC and a logger and call it a day.

The Venom 400 has no effect while at WOT. While at partial throttle, if you want more power, press harder on the accelerator pedal.

This device has been around for many years, and it's methods are widely known. I would invest that money into a real mod, with a real gain.

I agree. I looked at the venom 400 for a car I used to have. I think it cost around $400 or so. I would def put the money toward another tuning device. The venom basically just helps eliminate dead spots. You could do that and much more with dsmlink.

I've just pulled my engine (98 eclipse spyder gs-t) and i'm looking into a fuel managment system. When i bought the car it had a venom 400 module , it no longer works , i than spun a crankshaft main bearing.(Not sure if i should get a new venom module) I have an upgraded t3/t4 turbo and was wondering what would be a good path to go for a novice fuel managment system also a way to better monitor the engine.
I know it's a broad question but i've been looking at so many different options which is starting to bogel my mind.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

spend the money now, to then save the money later, get DSM Link

if you don't get dsmlink, then get a safc atleast and read the manuel and search this site, I had a venom 400 and realized quick that it was garbage and sold it, but dsmlink is what I'd run if I were you.

I saw the words "Venem 400" and I immediately felt the urge to type the letters C R A P.

It's not only crap, it's ridiculously overpriced crap. You know those ebay resistors that do nothing? SAME THING! But 20 times more expensive!
