ECU Leaking?

How do I check? I just had it sent out 3 months ago and re-chipped for my dsmlink. I think it's acting up cause my car started to idle very badly all of a sudden and when accelerating it was acting spurratic at the rpms and popping all over the place. It comes and goes. ECU?

Could be plug wires. Pull your ECU out and open it up. See it if the capacitors are leaking and look for cracks with a magnifying glass.

I just replaced the plugs and wires yesterday. The car seems to be running fine but wouldn't it have had the issue all along if the prior wires/plugs were bad? The prior plugs were gapped at around .038. I just gapped my new ones to .028.

If I pull the ecu out, will I have to reprogram it again for my 750cc fuel injectors to be scaled?

I thought 1G DSMLink remembered the settings when the battery was disconnected.

I don't know for sure. i had a shop do all the installation. Here's another ? though, I'm running bosch plugs @ .028 and BOSCH WIRES(7.5mm). i know now to get the ngks bpr6es and probably the msd 8.5mm wires. Is my current setup ok for awhile?? I am only running stock boost.
