ok ive posted about this before and its drving me insane. my headlights work at random ive checked every fuse about 5 times and even by passed the relay nothing... its wierd because somtimes when i would hit a bump they would come on and off or the last time the car was just sitting... i thought it could be the switch so i changed that out still same thing....if i go to turn the high beams on the light in the dash will not come on. anyone have any ideas ive changed my battery termials and checked the grounds i could find does anyone know exactly where the ground for the headlights is? do you think it could be a wire in the harness? does this make since ? turn the switch power should go to the switch to the relay to the headlights correct? is there a way to make sure the switch is geting power like it should? any input or help would be grea thanks guys

Hello finally something in my neighborhood it sounds to me like you may have a bad headlight switch there is a spring and latch assembly that signals your high and low beams from one another it is possible that the contacts inside have either come loose or broken and is causing ## problem

it just started doing this my parking lights will come on but my headlights what seems to be random ive changed the switch and it still does the same thing

check the terminals thet plug into the lights and make sure they arent corroded or anything. Could also be the bulbs themselves. I know its not likely both of the high beams would go out at once but I have seen this happen before, recently actually.

cleaned all the grounds and stuff i could find i should of said i did a 1gb swap on my car over 2 years ago and ive got 1gb projector headlights

Did they work after you first did the swap? check and make sure all the wires are still connected good and like I said before, try replacing the bulbs.:thumb:

checked all that and there fine i may just run a hot wire for a min and see if they come on
