I have a 97 GSX that has went through 3 transmissions after being recked. Frame was fixed. The last tranny went for less than 1000 miles.

Are you putting in stock trannies? Auto or manual? What fluids? How are you driving it?

And what are you meaning by "going through" trannies? Are they blowing up or just synchros grinding?

Is your question what could be the cause of the transmissions going out so quickly? And if that is the question. Have all three trannies been used or rebuilt?

All three were mitsu rm new. could linkage, short shifter or stage 3 clutch do that kinda damage that fast. keep in mind i was still breaking it in and driving it real easy.

5sp... all three scenarios third and forth just "disapeared" the shifter went the distance but there was no movement in the trans, but the linkage moved on the outside.

i had a shop put it in and i gave them the stock trans weight, which was valvoline gear oil but i forget the exact weight...70 or 80 something, it has been sitting for over a year
