No cold start enrichment?

Okay so i've been having problems with starting my car. It takes 7 or more revolutions to start the car when its cold. At first I thought it was the starter, but its not. Ive replaced the alternator and tested my battery. Once the vehicle starts it gets up to speed slowly. I don't understand it. Can somebody please help me?

My mother owns a 90 1G that does the same thing. If it is not a huge problem, then let sleeping dogs lie.

Well it is kinda a huge thing, ### in the winters up here it can get down to 50 below or more so you know, i really want to be able to rely on it

I have no experience with the extremely cold starts. It can get to minus 20 or so down here, and my mother's car has always started. Maybe someone else will come along with a good explanation for the why.
