I was driving my new car for a couple of weeks and it ran perfect then a couple days ago i noticed i couldnt boost past 10 psi (running about 13 psi normal). i shut my car off and it jumped timing. I replaced the belt and timing tensioner and reset everything and now its really hard to start and wont stay running unless i hold down the gas. i have rechecked the timing and it fine. The number 4 cylinder is wet on top of the piston but i checked for spark and its good all around. Any feed back would be great!!!!
Thanks

I think I have the same problem, and I redid my timing belt twice. But i still think its the timing. Im going to take a straight edge to it this time.

Well, I would most certainly do a compression test. You could have "tinged" a valve which would reduce your compression. Do that first and let us know the results.

Good Luck

Most likely bent a couple of valves when the belt slipped. The only way to tell is a compression test, or look under the valvecover and see if any of the cam followers are loose -- they will tell you that a valve is bent.
