My plans are to get a T28 turbo, in about 2 to 3 months it would be on the car, but for now i want to raise the boost on the stock T25, my question is: Do i have to get a fuel pump if i want to raise the boost to 15lbs? Would my stock fuel system would be able to keep up with the demand of more boost? thanks!

The only way to really be sure is to get a logger and see. But, it is generally accepted that 15 psi on a t25 is fine with a stock fuel system. Most people even spike to 18 psi then settle to 15 and have experienced no problems. YMMV

:thumb: Thanks for your input bro.!

You should be ok up until 16-17 psi....Rewire the fuel pump and this way you will have a future mod done for now and it will help out a little now and even hold up the voltage...This psi is rated on a t-25/14b.....I'm unsure of the flow of a T28 on that level of boost...I wouldnt think that it would flow a whole lot more.....Best thing to do is get a logger and watch your fuel trims...Periodically pull your plugs and check them out, they can tell you alot sometimes...:thumb:

Just make sure you're not on the stock 2g BOV. It will POSSIBLY leak if you try 15psi, and I'd imagine it would definitely leak if you spike past that.

Other then that you should be fine. I plan on bumping mine upto around there and I'm still on the stock fuel system.

^^^^^^ Listen to these guys. The stock bov would probably cause issues. ^^^^^^ I spike 17.5 and hold 15 to 6600 rpm on a rewired fuel pump. I do this on 95 octane for added security. I did it on pump gas for a year with no issues though. All dsms are different but as long as you've done all your maintenance and rewire that pump, you should be cool. Hope this helps.

HHmm i see, i already got a 1G BOV so i dont think i need to worry about any leaks...I just got one more question: where can i get a re-wire kit for the fuel pump? who sells it? and is it easy enough that i can do it at my garage?

The rewire kit is to make sure your fuel pump (stock or otherwise) is getting enough voltage to pump fuel at WOT. This has no effect on installing any aftermarket fuel pumps.
