Hello first off i did some searchin and havent found my answer yet. I own a 90gsx all stock and have noticed that im leaking from one of my oil lines by the crush washers. Its the one next to the exaust manifold. The Q is do i have to take everything apart to replace those crush washers? Or is there a tool that can help? and if i have to take it all apart whats all the gaskets i should replase while im there. newer short block with 26,000 miles on it and done by the dealer(6000.00). Thanks for your help

I would say get yourself a stainless oil line from extremepsi that feeds from the oil filter housing. This way you eliminate your leak, get fresh...clean...and cooled oil straight out of the filter. Much better for your turbo in the long run.

Just put a npt plug in the head where the stock oil feed location is. Total project shouldn't cost more than $50.

ok good idea. How would i get the bolt off without taking the exaust manifold and everything else.

You should just be able to pull banjo bolt and replace the crushwashers, as leaky crush washers arent uncommon. Just get a 12mm wrench in there and unbolt it. Be careful not to strip it, because if you do you'll have a nightmare. Whenever i replace crush washers or oil lines I just get new banjo bolts and washers.

+1 on the SS Oil Feed Line. To get to the feed line I suggest pulling the manifold off. It's not impossible to get to it, but very difficult. All you need is to get 2 new crush washers which I'm not sure if SBR gives you them when you buy their SS Feed line. Tighten it down pretty well too.

Wait, where is the bolt located on the turbo? Is it on top, or on the side?

I wouldn't mess around with trying to tighten down the feedline without taking off the manifold. You can take the manifold off by removing the four top bolts and then the bolts on the head. Support the turbo by the center cartrige with a piece of wood so all the downward force isn't on the turbine housing.

Cross your fingers the 4 manifold bolts don't break, and get new ones before putting things back together.

If you go the route of running your supply from the filter housing I would suggest getting a ristrictor to bring the oil pressure down to an acceptable level for your turbo. Oil supplly off the head is low pressure, a lot lower then off the filter housing. Not sure what turbo you are running but I assume it needs low pressure since that is what you are currently useing.

well for now all i want to do is to put the new crush washers. do i need to take the manifold off to do this
