I just ordered an SSAutochrome FMIC (from newdsmman on DSMTalk) for my 2g that has a 6-bolt and EVO III 16g. I wanted to know, do I need a different j-pipe than the stock one for it to bolt up to the FMIC? I think I read somewhere that I needed the one from dejon tool but I wanted to know for sure. Thanks.

No the one that you use with your 16g and stock intercooler will not work. You need one that bends towards the drivers side. dejontool and slowboy both sell them for under a 100 bucks. I bought mine from dejon.:thumb:

Thanks, so is this the one that would work?

Or should I go with the Dejon tool j-pipe? (because of their website design I can't post a link) but gives me a choice of either a $75 j-pipe with either 2" or 2 1/4" outlet or a $90 j-pipe with a 2 1/2" outlet.

Money isn't a problem, but what would best work with what I'm using? (EVO III 16g and SSAutochrome FMIC)

I have this same setup right now and I have the SBR J pipe. It works great, right where you need it. I dont know if you want to order from them though because it takes forever to get your shit. I have one for sale that is polished and come with the hardware. PM if you are interested.

I use the 2 1/2 one from dejon with a 90deg coupler because i don't like the elbow that they give u with the kit (its only two inches) plus i creates more places to develop a boost leak!!! i'd say go with the 2 1/2 and then get a matching 90 deg coupler and your set...
Hope this helps

^ I didn't like that stupid 90 degree with the kit either. It hung to low and didn't line up. I just cut a 90 out of my stock IC piping and saved myself 2 t bolt clamps in the process.

I have this one from ExtremePSI. http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=18692&cat=336&page=1

It works well and I welded on a boost source nipple. Getting the one hex bolt in and tightened down proved to be a major challenge though.
