Too much gas

Hi i just installed an e316g turbo, tubular mani., and rebuilt ecu and new radiator. The car has been off for 6 months and when i go to turn it on it was throwing gas like crazy. I mean i put the new spark plugs and i took them off two minutes later and they were black. Its in timing and all and it dont rev past 2k rpm's, i drove it around the block and floored it and didnt move till it got to about 3k rpm's when the turbo spooled and then it kicked in then when i switched it would go back till it got to 3k rpm's again

I'm having trouble understanding what you're saying about the driving part.

Your profile says you have a Walbro 255 but no AFPR. If you don't regulate that pressure you're ECU is going to squirt more gas than it thinks it is and make you run rich.

The ECU tells the injector how long to open based on the amount of metered air going into the engine. Your ECU doesn't know what your fuel pressure is. When it opens the injectors it's assuming you are running stock fuel pressure. The extra pressure sprays significantly more fuel in the same amount of time.

I'm not saying this is your problem for sure but it could be part of it.

It definitely is part of your problem. You might also have an injector stuck open. Touch the injector and see if you can feel them all pulsing like normal. Your best bet is that you have massively overrun you stock fuel pressure regulator with no fuel control as well.

If you dont have a AFPR with a 255, that is double your stock fuel output and the AFPR isnt required but makes things much easier. Im going to put money on you installing one and seeing your problems go away. Try changing the stock FPR and see if that changes anything as well.
