I have an evo 3 16g (ported with 34mm flapper). Stock o2 housing unported. No matter what, the boost will creep to 20 something PSI. Obviously I need a bigger o2 housing. I am still on the stock fuel. By putting in a walbro 255 and FIC 650s, (along with my safc) would I be able to "tune" the car to the boost creep psi? (until I get a bigger o2 housing)

So you havent upgraded anything to control your air/fuel ratios? You can tune for boost creep if that is what you are asking. Try not to hit max boost when you are driving, and you should be ok til you are tuned for that kinda boost. Thats a lot of boost though and would require a teardown of the engine to replace the parts with some higher performance stuff.

my car runs 10 psi on the same turbo, at 45oo rpms it jumps to 19lbs from boost creep. the afc allows me to adjust fuel trims in relationship to rpms. that how i tuned mine

I had the same problem with my evo 3, but after porting and a larger flapper no more creep (it would go from 10 psi to 22 if i got anywhere near 5000 RPM.) You may need to go to an external wastegate.

Had i seen what Mr. peepers has made for the actuator, i would have tried that before spending $160 on the porting and flapper. His new actuator arm seems promising so you might want to ask him about it.

I also have an AFC NEO, but my goal was to squash the boost creep before tuning any further. why tune for a problem instead of fixing the problem and just having a better more reliable/predictable setup. Just my .02
