hey. i just recently installed a new koyo racing radiator on my 95 gst. and im still using the stock fan. but for some reason the fan doesnt seem to work...all my car does is idle high after driving it for a while, and sometimes the hose that goes into the coolant resivor shoots out steam. im thinkin its ### i might have put too much antifrezze in the radiator, but im not sure. can any tell me why the fan might not be working and why my car is on a high idle between 2200-3200.

Well the Coolant Temp Sensor was in your OLD radiator so your 'racing" rad may or may not have the provision for that Sensor (lower passenger side bottom of rad) - For GOD's sake don't 'idle" it at 3 grand & don't run it hot & Blow it up over a new rad install~!

hm id have to get my old radiator back and check it out. but wen it idles at 3 grand i just turn off the car and let it sit. for a while then turn it back on and it idles at 500-800. but ### can i do if i doesnt have the provision for the sensor?

yeah the fan is plugged in and wow i never thought bought checkin the fuse. LOL. dumb part on me. but if the fuse is ok ### else could be the problem?

Are you sure the coolant temp sensor is in the radiator for a 2g?

Try hooking the fan directly up to the battery for a few seconds and see if it turns on.
