I'm about to install my boost gauge and I need some help. It seems like the hose adapter nipple won't work at all. It is threaded for something to screw on to it but as you can see in the pic it won't work.

I know that but if you look at the gauge line you'll see that it's too small to put a T-fitting in it and it's also nylon; so that brass fitting has to be installed at the end. The T-fitting supplied with the gauge connects to that black rubber vac hose and then the vac hose adapter is to be inserted and then somehow needs to be connected to the brass fitting but it won't work.

That small clear plastic tubing from the guage kit will fit inside the rubber hose on the fpr. line perfectly. Just get a T fitting & a small 1 inch length of that size of vacuum hose, & slide the plastic tubing inside the short peice of hose . . . :talon:

I bought that same gauge before and it was so badly out of wack once I got it installed. It was at 5 instead of 0 at its starting point.

I used one of these female 1/8" FIP brass coupling to connect both fittings together with teflon tape. All I have to do now is just "T" into my FPS to intake mani line, now to see if it leaks.
