Where to get EBAY interface for datalogging?

I just got the m105 in the mail today. Came with the hot sync but it has to be in the cradle. I bought a obd-II cable with a female serial end but I just read that you need a interface. Do you really need that?!



Well if I do I see that you can get one from retail store for 80 bucks, but I was seeing if I can get a cheaper version yet still effective. I really don't know what to put in the search button besides obd-ll interface so if anyone can help me find one I'd appreciate it.

Hotsync transfers/uploads programs and documents from the pc to palm m105. I'm trying to log my car. I already have the hotsync cradle btw.

Since I have obd-II I was told I have to buy an interface to translate the cars language into the pda. The cables alone worthless. So please confirm this or let me know what's goin on.
