Not sure really where to put this.... Here's my question i recently purchase an 89 colt gt with a 4g63t swapped in, however it still had the stock Colt ECM, so i purchased an 1990 ECM, turns out the motor is a 91-92, so i know i have to swap pins 6, 14, for a 1g harness, but what about an 89 colt gt harness.????????????

The stock colt gt harness is the same as a 90. The previous owner either cut connectors out of a 91 and wired them to the stock harness or swapped over all of the stock colt sensors like the coil pack, power transistor, cas sensor, throttle possition sensor, and there might be more. That is what we did on my buddies car.

To put the 90 ecu into a colt gt you will want to take the case apart for each ecu and swap the boards over, so that you can bolt the ecu back into the colt. While you are doing that you will want to swap over to 450cc injectors and a 1g mass air flow sensor so that the ecu doesn't freak out, because it is calibrated for 390cc injectors and a small mass.

Also if you ever want to sell it, let me know :)

I'm not following you on why i would need to swap the boards over, as of right now the 1990 ECM bolts right in, my question is do i need to still swap pins 6,14, since the motor is a 91-92 but the ECM is a 90. Also it already has 450 and 1g mas, Basically it s a stock 6 bolt, running on a colt ECM, which is why it hits fuel cut at high RPM's
