Ok, I bought this gst, about 1 month ago from my dealership, 3500 seemed like a good price. 98000 miles, alot of mods, and needs some TLC! Ive had 2 other dsm's "91 GSX and 96 GSX. from the mods ive found this is what it has. aftermarket, injectors, fuel pump, intake, exhaust, fmic, big 16g turbo, drilled and slotted roters, A'pexi safII super airflow converter, manuel boost controller, and a NOS module on the fmic? on the last one since there is no button or bottle but the line runs underneath the car to the trunk. now when i got the car i had the techs at my chevy dealership, replace the clutch, valve cover gasket. I have downloaded the instruction for the safc II off the net, but am not able to make sense of it=(. Now To get to the problem at hand I searched first and have heard it could be fuel cut or boost leak. I'm leaning towards the boost leak because when i step on the gas around 5-6k rpms, its a bif waff of air or what it sounds like, and i watch the boost controller spike up too 20psi. Then the car will jerk and the turbo will kick back in. I have hit the gas on the freeway too, and in third gear the turbo kicks in and out several times with the car jerking. I have checked all the piping and it all seems tight, yet it didnt start until the techs at my work touched my car. Any help would be appreciated, or should I just shovel out the cash to the most qaulified shop? True dsm'r at heart needs help!

Sounds like a fuel cut issue. When i have boost leaks, my car doesn't want to get going i will have stuttering problems as soon as i enter any kind of boost. If it is spiking try lowering the boost and see if it cuts out again.
