I bought a 99 spyder gst

The codes it is throwing is as follows below

1) O2 sensor (test pipe)
2) Wastegate Actuator Malfunction
3) Fuel Solinoid

My Gas guage stopped working and is stuck at around full.
When ever i get on it and hit about 5k, It gets bad fuel cut. I'm not sure what its boosting yet but it doesnt do it all the time. I bought this , this way. If anyone has any suggetions on where i should start, Let me know. Thanks Nick.

The mods are as follows

Turbo xs bov
Intake
Greddy exhaust
Walbro 255

What kind of turbo xs do you have? Not recirculting the bov on a stock maf setup will result with some disappointing performance. As far as wastegate actuator, check and make sure the vacuum line on the actuator is still conected. It almost sounds like your computer is reading too much air and freaking out. You need to invest in a quality boost gauge and make sure that you are not overboosting.

Congrats, welcome to tuners. :thumb:

1) O2 sensor (test pipe)
The previous owner must have removed the CAT along with the rear O2, search the forum for "rear o2", look for the proper size resistor to install in place of the rear o2, this will fool the computer into thinking the sensor is still present.

2) Wastegate Actuator Malfunction
The previous owner probably installed a boost controller and unplugged the stock boost controller solenoid. The factory BCS is located right under your air filter, make sure it's still plugged into the engine harness.

3) Fuel Solinoid
Fuel pressure solenoid, same deal as above. The FPS is located on the driver side firewall, make sure it's still plugged in.

Stop boosting until after the installation of a real boost gauge, complete maintenance, and a thorough boost leak test. Be a responsible DSMer so you don't spend 6 months out of a year troubleshooting your car, on dsmtuners!!! :D .

Turbo xs bov
As already mentioned, your BOV is probably not recirculated back to the intake pipe, sear the forum for "BOV recirculation" "BOV venting". Basically you need to get rid of that BOV and go with a BOV that can be recirculated. Don't worry about how it sounds, worry about how it functions.

Search the forum for "FPR overrun", FPR = Fuel Pressure Regulator. Basically the 255 pump overruns the stock FPR, you need an AFPR (Adjustable FPR) to properly regulate your fuel pressure.

Read through those two pages, must read!!!!!

Its a type H i believe, It idles fine, If i were to have a boost leak from the bov or the Intake the idle would be bad wouldn't it?

I don't really want to contradict you, but my car has been running a catless downpipe for the past couple thousand miles, and I still haven't gotten a rear O2 code thrown. Maybe it's a freak car, but I've only ever had it throw one code, and that was for a bad front O2, which was an easy fix.

Anyways, DSMLink can log wideband inputs through the old rear O2 wiring, so I'll be using that pretty soon anyways.

Yes, some people get it, some don't, I don't ......do a search and you will see. Same goes for FPS and BCS.
