I recently acquired a Handspring Treo 90 with Palm OS 4.1 and I have Palm'n'Stein already on it. I've been searching for about 2 days now trying to find out exactly what cables I need. I'm pretty sure I need one cable that plugs into my OBDI port and then another cable that will connect to the end of that cable and into my palm. Pardon the ignorance because I may just not be looking in the right place or calling them the right name when I try to search for them. Very new to all this so all the advice you could give is much appreciated.

*And on a side note is palm'n'stein the only software i need or are there others? Thanks!

You need a datalogger cable, they sell them on ebBay, pocketlogger.com, obdloggers.com, etc... However, they don't make dataloggers cable that are OBD/OBD2 to USB so you need to buy a serial Treo 90 Hotsync cable too and that all you need.

On a side note, you should try out the MMCD datalogger software too. I personally think that is much better than Palm'n'Stein.
