TDO6H 20G Question...

I was wondering what is the maximum amount of horsepower that the tdo6h 20g can handle before it is considered maxed out? I don't know if I worded my question correctly or not but I am sure you will understand what I mean .

If I remember correctly, the turbo is good for 500-550 hp. It really depends on your setup. Most I have pulled ( via DSMLink ) is 422hp flowing 38 lbs of air. I believe the max CFM was around 650 but I dont know what I was flowing. Max PSI is somewhere in the 26 range, may be higher. Most I have done was 25 so I think its higher as I didnt max out the turbo.

wow... The guys rebuilding my motor and doing all the work said I should be able to run 30psi once finished so I'm just trying to get a little insight on what to look forward to as far as Hp and Torque.

The td06h in a 7 cm^2 turbine housing is capable of out flowing the 20g compressors. See fp RED/GREEN. So what can a 20G compressor supply? That's the limiting factor. Enough for 500whp? . . . I've seen it.

What about the tdo5 form of 20 g?

The tdo5h turbine wheel and 7 cm^2 turbien housing is a clamp even for the evo3 16g, IMHO. I think a while back SBR ran their td05h 20g vs. an evo3 16g and the 20g pulled out about 20 more hp. Clipping the tdo5h turbine is one cost effective way ($75 or so) to get to nearly the flow potential of the td06h turbine wheel. But you'll have slightly more lag than the 06h wheel in the same turbine housing.
