Edmonton,
I have a hrc super 16g with stock intercooler and no fuel upgrades. My fans are also not working but since i do not have insurance or registration on my beast yet they are usually just short test drives around my neck of the woods, therefor my engine temp guage doesnt pass half way. Back to the original question, my pyrometer is running around 1400 deg. at its hottest point. Am i risking burning a valve?

What kind of EGT Gauge is it? I am running about 1150 cruising on the freeway on my car which I know cant be right. My AFR is perfect at 14.7 and my trims both are damned near zeroed.

I am thinking it might be a bad sensor.

200km/h and car is fully warmed up. flat roads of course, i am from alberta ;). and 25 deg. Celsius, sunny out. then cruising around same weather 80 deg. C quarter throttle, it will be around 1200-1250

could this be caused by no cooler fans as well and if so does anyone know how to hook them both up to a switch?

thank you for that a/c switch idea, I just ordered a new punishment-racing 8" fmic and i have to get rid of my a/c fan, so i'm just going to loose the whole thing. Gain a couple of ponies while im at it.
