tranny problem ?

Ok, so im pretty sure its not the motor because that starts up fine and runs great. Whenever I put the tranny in "drive", the car shuts off. But it stays running in nuetral and reverse. I did just put in a shift kit and end clutches. Could that have anything to do with it ? Any ideas ?

I would check the shift kit and make sure that it is in proper. If that is the last thing that you did before it started this then I would say that is the problem. Just make sure to check everything that has to do with the shift kit. Call the vendor that you got it from to see if they have a direct solution for you. They may know what you did to cause this to happen. Good luck, Keith.
