i replaced all the seals on the the car and it still leaks its hard to see where its comiing from cus its on the bottumend and it drips on the frame rails so its just everywhere...

i talked to the shop that did that car and he told me the car is always gonna leak unless i go into the motor, he told me if i wanted to stop the leaks build the bottum end...i think i got screwed!:dsm: the tops of the pistons and the walls look fine the rings are good, i just dont understand where it could be coming from..i mean its alot of oil, i left the car sit for a weekend and it leaked out prob a good 2qts if not more...

and my comprassion is 150-155-150-155 soo i really dont think i need to toach the bottem end at this point i just need the leaks fixed..im new soo go easy on me thank you

greddy headgasket, vc gasket front and rear main, camshaft seals.

when i brought it in there the rear main was leaking really bad and the manifold gasket was blown out and the headgasket was just about ready to go he said..

so i told him to go ahead and do all the seals, seeing as i had the head off and we removed the balance shafts we had everything out of the car but the block, and when it was put back togeather everything was new but the block

If it's leaking oil just sitting there, it's got to be on the bottom end. I'd check the turbo oil return tube and oil pan for leaks if you haven't already. Clean the motor up really good so you can see where the leak is coming from.

i see a little oil leaking off the turbo return line but i dont see that leaking that much, just a few drips nothing major, i have a new one i just ordered since i seen that...

i can spray the bottem of the car with brake clean to clean it all up it wont hurt anything will it? i have a issue with the dipstick always poping out well im under WOT that would be caused by a shitty dipstick if im thinkin right? which is spraying oil everywhere under the hood...i cleaned that up and i havent driven the car in a bout a month or soo im gonna bring it out of the garage and check all that 2marro!:dsm:

The dipstick tube is popping out because your crankcase is being pressurized. Since your compression looks good, I'd bet this is a leaking PCV valve or intake valve stem seals. I'd recommend a boost leak test. That'll tell you if the PCV valve is leaking. If it is replace with an OEM valve; the Autozone/Carquest ones look the same but do not work out of the box, as they aren't designed for boosted applications. Another option is to add a check valve to the vaccuum line running between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. Search for a thread called "Stupid PCV Question" for all you ever want to know about the check valve solution. It's a long thread, but provides a solution that doesn't rely on these flakey PCV valves that don't last more than a few thousand miles.

As I recall, brake cleaner can eat paint. Someone may have better experience with using it as an engine cleaner, but I'd recommend something designed for engine cleaning like GUNK or whatever.

i needed a new one when i worked at the oil change soo i just took one off the shelf it was universal one for any mitsubishi soo im not thinkin it was meant for boost, you said the autozone/carquest ones dont work, so are you saying they do leak?

ill look up the trend tonight but im leaving for the rest of the night tonight soo ill reply back 2marro thanks alot for the help that just did alot of good for me if that is the issue...ok ill have to look at the store 2marro im planning on going down by the car 2marro and working on it...it may be a stupied question but where can i get a boost leak tester?

i no its a little off subject but my seal is dry roted on my tranny soo its leaking all over the shop that did the car said he will do it for 500bucks, is it really worth it to stick 500into the tranny it shifts fine and no grinds but it does have 130k on it, im not planing on launching the car but idk how it'll hold to the power..just some ideas to what others would do is what im asking...thanks again!:dsm:
