Questions involving engine rebuild

I recieved a brand new ported 1g head from a friend. I was going to just use the bottom end on the car I have now but I wanted to know if
I should rebuild it or not(Never boosted past 14lbs)mobile1 syn Has over 168k

If I dont have to rebuild can I just simply bolt the new head on(apr head studs and metal head gasket?

If you don't plan on beating on it at all, but if you are going to and you plan on modifying if then I would say its time for a rebuild, replace all the old worn out parts. and start over new and strong. 168k probably been beaten on seeing how its a sports car it won't take too much abuse and mild modifications.
