Installed wideband about 2 weeks ago and installed Hahn sidemount with upper hard pipes today. I just have the stock o2 housing and seem to be getting some pretty good creep. In the upper rpms it will spike to 20-21psi(should have ported stock o2 or gone aftermarket when i put in 14b, oh well). During this whole time the wideband never goes leaner than around ~10.8, mostly seems to be around 10.5. From what ive read this is on the rich side of things correct? The only thing i am missing is a logger, which i am going to either get soon, or just go for DSMLink since i have a 95, trying to decide what route to go.
I also seem to be running around 12.8-low 13s at idle and normal cruise, which from what i read also seems to be really rich. Im still on stock injectors(as far as i know, bought the car off ebay a while back, they didnt say anything about fuel mods, but who knows) so its either they arent stock, or the fuel pump isnt stock and the rewire is making it overflow the stock AFPR. Basically my worry and question for now is if im running that rich, should i be safe knock wise? With this thing spiking to 20psi, if im still around 10.5afr then i should be ok? I know everyones going to say get a logger LOL and im working on it.

Thanks for any help or tips

Well i read the afr should be ~14.7 during cruise, which sometimes it will see it hang around 15, but its a rare occasion. Since i also sometimes have a high idle im thinking it probably is the afpr getting overflowed.

If you really are running that rich during closed loop operation I would agree that you might possibly have some 550cc or slightly larger than stock injectors or possibly a bit of FPR overrun. I'd check the injectors first.

Where in the exhaust did you put your WBO2 sensor? If you put it in the O2 housing, you may have fried your WB sensor. They don't like the heat so much. A datalogger and the stock O2 sensor could really help you find what's going on, is there anyone in your area you could borrow one from?

Its not in the stock o2 location. I have the ebay n1 exhaust and its in the rear o2 bung. I replaced main o2 sensor a few months ago, old one was white so it looked like it was toast.
What is the easiest way to see what injectors i have?

Wonder if this would affect anything. When i had my battery out last i saw one of the evap plugs on top didnt have a hose on it, its the same as this picture i found in another thread. The thing is that hose that it shows there that goes to the intake is already plugged up to something on my car. Its something on the side of the evap canister, so i doubt it goes there. Anyone know exactly what should go to that top plug?

btw anyone know best way to test fuel pressure? Any thread/site tell how to? Didnt see anything on vfaq. Hell may just buy an afpr before long anyway.

Just by looking at the injectors they are black top with metal below that. Looking at some 450cc 2g ones on ebay, they appear to look the same from what i can see.

If 20psi is too much then should i not be running lean when it creeps to 20psi? Because im not. Even when it creeps to 20psi im at a solid 10.5 on the wideband. I read somewhere that the 14b totally maxed out cannot flow enough air to outdo stock 450cc injectors, yet other places i read that 15psi is the limit for stock fuel, so lot of different stories. Mods are on hold for a bit while i save for a DD, but i will probably just spring for dsmlink since i have a 95, that way i can tune and log.

Whoever said that is incorrect.....

Here's a good reference to by when it comes to octane, turbo size, boost levels, and fuel system requirements....

Even on 93 Octane, you would still need an upgraded fuel pump and 550 injectors to run 20psi safely. If you're wideband says your good, and your running rich at idle, you just might have an upgraded fuel pump and injectors already. You should pull them so you know what your setup is for sure.

WB A/F ratio's are a great way to tune, but you also need to be able to check your timing advance along with it. If possible, find someone with a logger you can borrow until you can buy one.

Well as i said whatever my fuel pump is, i have it rewired. So even if its a stocker it should be flowing pretty well. I may just look for a logger used or something to tide me over until i feel like spending $500+ on dsmlink
