I am looking at the mitsubishi web site at the evo 9 and the acd looks like a transfer case. Is that what it is? And where is the center diff on our cars? If you could post a pick i couldn't find one

center differential and transfer case are the same thing. The 'a' in acd just means it's an auto adjusting differential. All dsm's have static differentials

center differential and transfer case are the same thing.

I do not beleave that is correct. our center diffs are in the trans and the t-case is seperate, whereas on evo's the center diff is built into the t-case. ACD is the active center differentials which are found in the late 05 evo VIII's and the evo IX's.

Do they make one for our cars? I know that they have a 35-65 split but i don't know if that is what i would want there is not enough weight. I would be happy if it shifted power to where its needed.
