i have a 6 bolt in my 97, and on my 1g t-stat housing i have the older 2 exposed prongs coming out of the "engine coolant temp sensor." i don't have the original 2g sensor anymore and i cant find the wires to go to it either, i know its a plug... either way i need to know if i can just hardwire the old sensor or if i have to buy a new one...
also i found 2 wires cut in my engine bay, anyone want check theirs and see if these go to the engine coolant temp sensor? one is white and one is black with a white stripe and intermittent silver marks...
