1g FMIC Intercooler Pipes

Im looking for some way people have ran there charge pipes on a 1g. I have looked into the ssac kit but that seems like alot of piping and looks to get in the way of the maf. I have a jrc fmic. And have my pipes ran now but they seem to heat up pretty good. As it run in front the turbo possibly putting to much heat on it. What ways have you ran your piping? Also using a 50 trim.

I went the long route with the charge piping, and through the core support on the hot side.

The cold side is noticably colder all they way up until about 8 inches from the TB.

So you were able to keep the support beam?

Yep, nothing was removed besides all the AC junk infront of the radiator and all the plastic stuff behind the bumper cover.

Does this kit work if you are using a 2g maf?
