so i installed my intake pipe today and i have only one question. when i removed the stock one there where to pipes one that lead to the valve cover and one that went to the firewall. what do i do with them? the dejon pipe doeasn't have anything to put them on so now where do they go?

Hose that goes to the firewall? I think you mean the charcol canister, you can leave that one hanging. That is for emissions purposes, you'd fail the visual. I don't think it affects the pipe test, but I could be wrong. The hose that goes to the valve cover you should put a breather filter on or a catch can.

Putting the breather filter on the valve cover will increase your chances of not passing visual during smog, as you should know being in cali.

The charcoal canister i would not worry about, I've left that off for years. If the 1gs is like the 95s where the charcoal canister is under the battery, just remove the hose from there. If you leave it dangling where its in site, they will obviously see it needs to be connected. It doesn't effect the actual smog test I believe.

Also I don't know about you guys, but I ran the VC vented, and I lost 1hg in vac. I recirculated it back and I got it back.

I got a fitting and drilled my dejon pipe so I can recirculate it.
