How do you crush a 1g bov? should i even do this if I'm soon to be upgrading my turbo to the evo III and putting on the punishment racing fmic.

On accident I did it an even easier way. I was using a 1G on my turbo van and made my own flange and gasket. The gasket was a fat piece of cork and I put it on backwards one time. Putting it on backwards covered up the quick release hole and it wouldn't blow off unless I was over 12psi or so.
I really like DDG's method with the solenoid though. More work, but when you're not pushing the car it will keep it from surging. I dunno if it would be quick enough, but you might be able to hook up the solenoid to a boost switch so it will keep it shut at Xpsi but when it drops below it will be quick release again without anyone having to touch it.
