Is this a good deal? (turbo)

I have not been on the turbo side of things for awhile. My friend needs a new turbo for his 2g and was thinking about this one. I personally don't know If its a good deal or if Its a ripoff, So I'm asking you guys. I'm a 1.8 guy I don't know about turbos.

If you have any suggestions on a better cheaper one I'm listening.

It's not a good deal.

Those chinese-made 16g knockoffs are terrible, and have a lifespan often measured in minutes.

Get a real mitusbishi 16g for $500 plus the install kit, or a 14b used for $150 plus an install kit, or get another stock replacement T25 for $125. (used, in the classifieds here)

Consider those eBay 16gs to be paperweights.

I wouldn't take a chance, I would get a true Evo III 16g. There are a few in the classifieds on this site even for like 350-400 with the install kit. I wouldn't gamble.
