Ok im trying to replace my intake manifold because it is gushing boost. ive taken all the top bolts that go into the head out. my trouble is i cant get the bottom ones out. I cant get enough space to get them. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to get the bottom intake manifold bolts out?

anything would be apreciated thx

For instance you center diff and your downpipe may need to come off. Although when I changed mine out I didnt have to remove anything. I dont have a/c though.

Now that I think about it just removing the downpipe should give you enough room.

I have an AWD w/ 3" exhaust and ac, and i didn't have to remove anything. I came up from under the car, but then again, i have gorilla armsLOL

Try taking out the battery and see if that gives you some more room from up top.

The main thing blocking you would probably be the large bracket that "supports" the intake manifold. Its held on by 3 bolts, two in the manifold and one in the block. If you can get those off, you will have a ton of room to work with. And besides, you need to get that bracket off anyway, or the intake wont budge.

When I swapped my 6bolt in, I ditched the bracket, you may want to consider not putting it back on also.
