I'll give you the facts:

6 bolt 8.3:1 ross / eagle rods / 1g head / MLS - 900 miles
PTE BB5031 turbo : 6,000 miles
660cc denso injectors
150 compression as of last night

DSMLink tune -
global : -33% and 195 deadtime
airflow - 50 mhz slider up 7%
(last i checked LTFT/STFT were +- 3% from zero)

boost 17 psi

I checked the intercooler pipe after the turbo and it's bone DRY, so I don't think it's the turbo. It also has no abnormal shaft play.

The smoking started happening right after I installed a greddy catch can. The way I routed it was valve cover - catch can - nipple on intake pipe. I also at the time reattached my PCV to a vacuum source on my manifold. BEFORE the installation that day, I was running a breather filter on the breather side and I capped off my PCV (Don't ask me why, I didn't know better; but the damn car ran fine..)

The car slightly smokes a blueish/white smoke (Lead to believe it's synthetic oil burning) at idle and increases like crazy on boost.

Since then, I have replaced the pcv, rechecked the lines on the breather side, and checked all settings on dsmlink. I'm running out of ideas! Anyone?

I would also pull your plugs to look for oil deposits and check your exhaust manifold for oil in the runners. Does it smoke all the time at idle or just a for a few minutes when you start the car?
