recirculation adapter for Type RS Bov

So I bought a type RS bov, but I want recirculate the air... (should have bought the type s:mad: ) however the RS comes with a funnle instead of just a small pipe to fit the tube over with, I saw that you can buy an recirculation adapter for it, but its like 25bucks?! Can I just use PVC pipe to do it.. Im planning on boosting at about 20-22psi

what size is the stock tube that connects from the intake to the bov?

Probably just too much effort. How would you keep the PVC attached to the valve? Just click here and see that you can pick up the recirculation kit for about $15. If you can't spare about 15 bucks, you probably shouldn't have went with the Greddy Type-RS in the first place. Should have waited for a used 1G BOV to come along.

Just spend the money and get the recirculation kit.
No sense in hacking something together when the kit itself is so cheap.
Just my opinion though. :thumb:
 
LOL wtf, i just bought a knockoff bov from ebay type rs, it cost me 15$ and your telling me i gotta pay $16.95 just to get a piece to hookup my recirc tube? whats up with the piece that the type rs comes with anyway? it's got holes in it and looks like a horn LOL.
 
are you joking ? otherwise... not to get in an ebay quality battle, but if you bought a $15 bov your probably not going to have much luck on that. and im assuming your joking about the type rs (vent to atm) fitting
 
LOL yea about the venting to atm fitting. but i do think this bov although cheap is 10x sturdier than the pos stock 2g one, have yet to get my uicp to test it out though. that and im still debating paying more for a little piece to hook a hose up with vs the whole damn thing.

is the one i got LOL. idc about being a cheapskate and not buying one for 200$, at least i didn't put on one thats worth .50 cent like came on the 2g.
 
I also have the tpye rs BOV and its venting to the atm. My check engine light is on and I was told its because its not recirculating. Any truth to that?
