Motor Swap Question

Ok I couldn't figure out with section to put this thread in, I figured this would be the best.

Now here is my question. I have a 4G63 Six bolt block and head just sitting around in my garage. I have a 97 GST and I have long wanted to own a Lancer Evolution IV or V, now has anyone ever heard of a 97 Mitsubishi Mirrage with a 4G AWD swap in it? Or just a FWD 4G swap. i know that the AWD would require alot of modification to the car along with the fabrication so the motor alone would be able to sit in the motor bay.

Money and headaches. I'm not sure you grasp just how much you're looking at in the way of "a lot of modification". It will cost you a lot of money. Some things will be fine -a lot of the bolts will still be right-hand thread, for instance- and others will be a matter of installing the car on the driveline instead of putting the driveline in the car. Oh, and it will be expensive.
But when you're done, you'll have a hotted-up 97 Mirage. Ladies, stand back.

I would just buy a Evo but we only have the VIII and the IX......... They dont sell the IV or V in the U.S........ and its not even worth trying to get one imported from Japan, which means a Mirage is the closest I can get to a IV or V
