Please help!!!
I am looking to get a n/a 4G63 to perform as closely to the Civic and S2000 in this video as possible without having to do any fuel tuning or any other tuning at all. Yeah I know this sounds shallow, but I don't know how to go about tuning things like that, and I like simplicity. I still want the car to be streetable though, so keep that in mind, and I want to go about this the most cost effective way as possible also.
1. What else can be done besides these mods to help me get closer to my goal without having to do any technical tuning? And would these mods require any tuning(ex. fuel tuning)? (I don't think they would, but I'm not sure).
- Interior
roll cage
air/ fuel gauge
-Intake
filter
hard intake pipe
turbonator type of device
-Exhaust
Header
High flow cat.
Exhaust
- Engine
rad.
- Drivetrain (auto.)
trans. Cooler
clutch kit
valve body
-Suspension
struts
springs
wheels
tires
strut tower bars
sway bars
- Brakes
pads
calipers
2. What mods besides what I've listed would increase and auto. trans.' Performance and reliability to the point of being able to support the listed mods?
3. would these mods require an ignition time controller? When/ why would one be needed?
4. Would performance cams plus the existing mods require a fuel or ignition time controller?
5. Would a performance intake mani. Require a fuel controller?
6. Would cams plus intake mani. Plus listed mods require fuel/ ignition tuning?
7. What would I get out of cams and an intake mani. Together and individually?
8. Does a torque converter prevent burning out? (just a yes or no please) If yes, does it require tuning?
9.What's the purpose of stainless steel brake lines?
Please put the corresponding Q #'s before the answer(s) you provide.
Thanks, Seth.
