can someone post a link or pics of a 7bolt motor that shows the accessory belts and brackets. im helping my friend drop in his new motor but im not the one who removed the original motor and i cant figure out how all this goes back. i just have a bunch of bolts/brackets/pulleys in front of me and im stumped

nobody has a pic of their engine out of their car that shows the cam gear side of the engine?

thanks flying high. also, can someone show me where the alternator bracket bolts onto the block?

i know im not suppose to bump my thread but ive searched this site & google but no luck...
so does anyone have pics of a 2g accessory belt diagram?

Not to be a dick but please invest $16.99 on a haynes or similar manual it saves time and effort trust me i know, now when you don't understand or it does not explain then ask and it shall be answered.

not to be a dick but when you pressed reply didnt u see rule #1 in red? it says provide the answer, a link to the answer, or do not answer at all. by any chance did you read rule #2 in red? No insults, name calling, or smart ass replies. but i guess im guilty or rule 2 also now huh? thanks for your unhelpful help though. oh and by the way, i already spent $16.99 on chiltons manual but it didnt help to much like yourself.

anyways, the problem i couldnt figure out was where the a/c tension pulley mounted. now that i have the engine on a hoist i noticed that it bolts to the a/c compressor bracket.

ANOTHER question for those with experience.....how do you bolt the a/c compressor to its bracket once the engine is in the car? the a/c is still connected in the engine bay and i already have the intake mani on, so what i was gonna do is lower the motor into the engine bay and keep it on the hoist, go underneath the car and put the ac onto its bracket then install the belts. is that correct? or should i keep the intake mani off and put the a/c onto its bracket from the top of the motor? any HELPFUL advice welcome. thanks in advance
