Not too long ago I got myself a 2g gsx. It runs like a champ, especially considering the fact it has 200,000+ miles on it. Well it's been sitting in the garage for awhile and I finally took it for a spin yesturday, and it just didn't feel right...
I drove it for a good 3 hours.
For the first 2 and a half hours, the turbo was giving me crap.
It would take forever to spool up for starters and would take forever for it to reach boost. It also didn't have the same pull to it, nor the same sound. Normally it has a whistle to it, instead it sounded like it was just sucking in air. I think it might just be a boost leak, but it's been forever since i've been around cars, so I'm not fully sure..
What was the most confusing about it all though was that after a good 2 and half hours of driving, the turbo finally spooled up the way it used to and had no drag to it, but the sucking sound was still there..
I'm confused
Any ideas?
