What is needed to put a 2g 7 bolt motor into a 1gb car? I know one of the mounts is different, plus I don't know what to due about the cam angle sensor. Is everything else pretty much interchangeable? Any links would be helpful, all I could find is 6 bolt swap stuff. If your curious why I am not just going with a 6 bolt, read below.

I am going to pick up a '93 awd laser in the morning with a blown motor for a $1000.:rocks: I am taking parts off of it and then selling it to a friend. The head is ported/polished and built. I plan on using this a doing a full 6 bolt swap into my 2g. Since I am building a new motor and pulling my perfectly good 7 bolt, it only makes since to sell it to my friend who is buying the laser that needs motor.

We built a 7-bolt 4G64 and popped it in my brothers 91 GVR4. We had to make a front MM for it since the 7-bolt block didn't have front 1G MM bolt holes. We also had to figure out how to get the engine side mount (drivers side) to fit in the 2G block. I believe we used a 1GB (1G 7-bolt) timing components and side mount parts. Other than that it seems to be working perfectly.

Thanks for the replies.
Are you guys just talking about the bottom ends? This would be a full 7 bolt so it would have a 2g head. Since a '93 has a 1g head, I was sure there would be problems with the CAS. It would be sweet if I misunderstand.
