relocating mass air flow sensor

this mab be a stupid Q but is it possible to move the mass air flow sensor to a location after the turbo and bov valve. so that you can vent to the atmosher. i mean it seam like it would work so long as u can fit it in and have no leaks.... just wondering.. thanks for the help.

Its plastic and there are alot of points that would leak under boost, that is why it is used under vacuum cause that is what it was made for.

That is what the GM mas and translator is for.

The 1g and 2g DSM mas is not designed in a way to measure mass airflow of pressurized air. So it will not work, at all. This is why a lot of people purchase the GM (Delphi) MAF-T which is a hot wire setup, and can measure flow at any pressure.

You can't use the Karmen sensor with high positive pressure like you can with the GM hotwire sensor.
