Well it depends on how much money you are willing to spend. The 2nd is just the front rotors. You mentioned you are getting the rear rotors for this also, but just so you know you don't need bigger rotors for the back due to most of the braking is done by the front. If you do want them though, you will be at almost a grand, for just the rotors. At this point I would consider other big name big brake kits for that price. Also, a cheaper route is to just go the 3000gt route for upgraded braking.
The first kit looks to be all you need for everyday driving with occasional track use, and includes everything for muchhh cheaper.
Once again it's all up to how much you want to spend.

You'd be surprised how much of a difference a set of performance brake pads makes on a car. If you're running cheap pads now and upgrade to performance pads, it may feel like you did step up to a big brake kit.

That first kit seems too aggressive for a step up from stock anyway. If you like that brake kit, you may want to just try Hawk (street) pads and SS lines on your existing brakes for a while.

Then after that, you will be able to make the decision whether or not you need to make the big step of getting a complete brake set.

well i'd go with FlyByNight and just try some better pads and SS lines. like he said...you may feel enough difference that you can spend that money elsewhere.

if you're dead set with getting them i suppose you only need the front..

Im installing the awd 93-95 dsm front big brakes and twin calipers next week with some hawk performance brake pads. Should be a significant improvement.

Go with the Hi-perf Kit from VIP. For the price, and everything you get, it can't be beat. I think you'll find that kit to surpass your expectations and you'll be very satisfied once you break them in.
