1g 2g Upper timing belt covers the same

Are 1g and 2g upper timing belt covers the same? Same size shape bolt holes...etc?

I have a 2g upper timing belt cover on my 1g, the lowers are different.

how isthe fitment? are they exactly the same...bolt holes?

My 2g (1997) bolted right up to my 6-bolt long block (1989). I also have a 1997 spark plug wire cover. I painted my valve cover black and both black plastic covers look nice.

You can also use the ones out of the Hyuandai's that came with the mitsubishi motors.
